Project Development Manager - Architectural Designer Focus

Woodland Builders is hiring a Remodeling Salesperson with strong architectural design and CAD drafting skills. This role combines client-facing sales with design support in a residential Design/Build environment. Ideal for someone with a residential architecture or drafting background who enjoys working directly with homeowners.

What You'll Do

• Respond to leads, conduct discovery calls, and perform in-home consultations.
• Present the Design/Build process, discuss budgets, and move qualified clients into paid design agreements.
• Measure project spaces, document as-builts, and produce CAD drawings (plans, elevations, 3D views).
• Support conceptual design, space planning, and design iterations with clients.
• Collaborate with estimating and production to ensure drawings support accurate pricing and buildability.
• Present final Remodeling Agreements and guide clients through decisions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients through project handoff and construction.
• Keep accurate CRM notes, attend weekly sales meetings, and participate in approved networking activities.

What You Bring

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, or similar (preferred).
• 5+ years of residential design, architectural drafting, or residential remodeling experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software (Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and project-organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active clients and design/sales workflows.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation

• Base Salary: $65,000-$80,000 depending on experience
• Commission on sold projects: OTE $95,000-$125,000+
